The meter is installed as a secondary meter at the main distribution board of the premises and does not interfere with or impair the functionality of the primary meter in a sub-metering environment. In a municipal environment we replace the existing meters or install new meters.

Prepaid sub-meters ensure that all residents prepay for their utilities before usage, eliminating resident and owner arrears for utilities consumed. There is no need for frequent manual meter readings and all administration related to accounts for utility consumption fall away.
MorUtilities collect the funds via the purchase channels as the residents buy units throughout the month, and the total collected funds are paid over to the owner / agent by the 7th of the next month for them to settle their Municipality bill for the bulk meter.
